Caledonia Gas Storage Facility Placed in Service - 05/02/07

CALEDONIA, Mississippi -- The Caledonia Gas Storage Field, a facility in Northeast Mississippi capable of storing 11.7 billion cubic feet of working natural gas, was placed in service on May 1, 2007, Caledonia Energy Partners, L.L.C. (CEP) has announced.

The in-service announcement signifies the completion of a year-long project to convert a depleted natural gas reservoir into a high-deliverability, multi-cycle gas storage facility.

“We are pleased to have reached the point of having this facility in service,” said CEP President Jim Goetz. “As expected, industry interest in this new capacity has been very strong.”

Fifty percent of CEP is owned by the Tenaska Power Fund, L.P. (TPF), a private equity limited partnership.

The Caledonia storage facility is strategically interconnected with Tennessee Gas Pipeline’s 500 leg in Zone 1 in Lowndes County, Mississippi. The pipeline serves the growing natural gas demand markets in the Northeast, Southeast and Ohio Valley regions of the U. S. and is able to provide customers with firm and interruptible storage opportunities. Maximum daily injections will be 260 MMcf per day and the maximum daily withdrawals will be 330 MMcf per day.
