2023-2024 Scholarship Application

Tenaska, founded in 1987, is a privately held energy company that develops, constructs, owns and operates independent electric generating plants across the United States. Tenaska has a reputation for high standards and expertise in natural gas and electric power marketing, energy management, development and acquisition of energy assets, and operation of generating facilities.

Tenaska has created a culture where its people are free to build the future of the energy industry on a decades-strong foundation of ethics, expertise and entrepreneurship. We understand that being a leader is about more than financial success – it’s about being a force for good in the communities where our people live and work. To express the company’s commitment to education, three new corporate scholarships are offered through the public high schools located near our corporate headquarters in Omaha, as well as our Dallas regional office.

Eligibility guidelines and application requirements are detailed below. All requirements must be met for an application to be considered. The scholarships awarded in spring 2024 may be used only for the 2024-2025 school year. After that time, the money will be forfeited.
