Carbon capture and sequestration (CCS), also known as carbon capture and storage, helps industrial producers meet environmental requirements in a cost-effective and responsible manner by capturing carbon dioxide (CO2), transporting it, and storing it safely and permanently deep underground. Our Projects
Tenaska has more than 35 years of experience in developing generation facilities, first with natural gas-fueled facilities and then, as market needs evolved, with wind, solar and battery storage. Our organizational knowledge and expertise also encompass exploration & production, pipelines and clean coal technologies that incorporate carbon capture.
With increased demand for CCS and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) Tenaska is applying its decades of knowledge and experience to help meet the growing demand for CCS and CCUS services and projects. Tenaska also is a member of the Global CCS Institute, an association of companies, researchers and government entities working to advance CCS solutions around the world.
