Tenaska is known for cost-effective construction management that completes energy projects on schedule and within budget. The company has developed and constructed a diverse portfolio of environmentally responsible power facilities, including 17 natural gas-fueled and renewable generating stations, both domestically and internationally. The most recent addition to the Tenaska fleet – the 940-megawatt natural gas-fueled Tenaska Westmoreland Generating Station in southwestern Pennsylvania – achieved commercial operation in late 2018.

Tenaska has also managed the design and construction of an approximately 85-mile transmission line that connects the Tenaska Kiamichi Generating Station in Oklahoma to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas grid and a 225-mile high-pressure natural gas pipeline and gathering system carrying gas from East Texas and Louisiana to five interstate pipelines.
