OMAHA, Nebraska – Independent energy company Tenaska has completed the sale of Clinton Biodiesel, LLC, a biodiesel refinery plant located in Clinton County, Iowa, to Natural Chem Holdings, LLC. The transaction closed on Tuesday.
Tenaska, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, acquired the facility in early 2015 but subsequently made the decision to exit the agriculture-based fuels and commodities marketing business. The facility can produce up to 10 million gallons per year.
Natural Chem Holdings, LLC is headquartered in Houston. Terms of the deal are confidential.
