Tenaska – Coronavirus Update

Tenaska’s efforts to manage through the pandemic have so far achieved our goal of maximizing the safety of our workforce while continuing to serve our customers and markets with the same reliability and creativity we are known for. Our employees are home, and some who alternate between office and work from home. All our employees have done a great job of maintaining productivity throughout this challenging time.

Our senior management pandemic team continues to monitor conditions and assess information from a variety of resources to drive the company’s pandemic response.

Tenaska complies with all applicable federal, state and local government guidelines. Employees are following CDC guidelines, including engaging in hand hygiene, temperature monitoring, wearing masks, social distancing and limiting contact with others to the extent possible. Employees are required to stay home if they exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms or feel sick. Additionally, Tenaska has deployed contact tracing technology at all locations which provides us an automated solution to quickly and accurately notify employees who have been directly exposed to another employee who has tested positive for COVID19.

Employees receive ongoing briefings, materials and information on company-wide activities related to COVID-19. Tenaska continues to restrict employee travel and visits to Tenaska locations by non-employees.

Tenaska is privileged to be an important part of an industry that allows us to continue to be of service even during trying times. Our employees deliver a reliable supply of natural gas and power, to accommodate our customers’ changing energy needs and, importantly, to be helpful in the communities where they live and work.

While we may be uncertain when things will “return to normal,” we are certain that we will successfully manage through this pandemic if we all stick together.
