Tenaska Marketing Ventures Broadens Management Team

OMAHA, Nebraska – Fred Hunzeker, CEO of Tenaska Marketing Group, today announced organizational changes for leading natural gas marketer Tenaska Marketing Ventures (TMV). Effective April 1, 2019, Mark Whitt will become president of TMV, reporting to Hunzeker. Lori Bruck will become chief marketing officer and will report to Whitt. John Obermiller, chief financial officer, will remain a part of the executive management team.

“Mark and Lori have served in a number of key leadership roles within Tenaska and other energy companies,” said Hunzeker. “I have no doubt that their exceptional leadership skills and experience will guide the company to continued success well into the future.”

Whitt, currently executive vice president trading and marketing for TMV’s West region, joined the company in 2002 and opened the Denver, Colorado, regional office. Whitt has 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Tenaska, he held various marketing, business development and trading positions with Enron, Western Gas Resources and Tennessee Gas Pipeline. He is a graduate of Texas Lutheran University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in marketing, and Texas A&M University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree.

Bruck, currently executive vice president marketing in TMV’s North region, joined Tenaska in 2000. Bruck has more than 30 years of experience in the natural gas industry and has held various trading and marketing roles with Northern Border Pipeline, TransCanada Energy Marketing, Pan-Alberta and Cibola Energy Services. She is a graduate of Creighton University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in organizational communication, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she earned a Master of Business Administration degree.
