James Saroka is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources Capability for Tenaska and is responsible for developing and executing our people strategies that advance Tenaska’s vision, mission, core values and success.
Mr. Saroka joined Tenaska in 2025 and has over 25 years of HR leadership experience, including total rewards, talent strategy and change management. His background spans multiple industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, energy, financial services, telecommunications and healthcare. He has also worked within various ownership structures, including private, public and nonprofit.
Mr. Saroka has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Villanova University. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
