Ronald Quinn

Executive Vice President

Ronald N. Quinn is Executive Vice President of Tenaska and oversees corporate planning, investment, administration and compliance activities. He also serves as Corporate Secretary and is a member of Tenaska’s Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Board.

Mr. Quinn has been with Tenaska since 1988 and was involved in the early development and evolution of the company. He served as Chief Financial Officer from 1988 to 2003, during which time he was heavily involved in the development and financing of Tenaska Generation projects and its strategic planning and development activities, as well as corporate administration, legal and litigation matters. He is involved in corporate planning, strategy efforts and management of the corporate investment portfolio, government affairs and corporate political action committee.

From 1995-2015, Mr. Quinn provided management leadership and supervision in several complex commercial arbitration and contract litigation matters, all of which were ultimately resolved successfully for the company.

Before joining Tenaska, Mr. Quinn was Vice President of Business Development in an information services subsidiary of American Express for three years, responsible for evaluating markets and developing strategic plans for growth, including involvement in several acquisitions of private and public companies. Before American Express, Mr. Quinn was with InterNorth, Inc. for 16 years in a variety of positions in management, accounting, strategic planning and information systems design and analysis.

Outside of Tenaska, Mr. Quinn has served on boards and finance and development committees for several nonprofit organizations including Greater Omaha Chamber, Creighton University, Creighton Preparatory High School, Duchesne Academy, St. Robert Bellarmine Parish and Opportunity Scholarships Nebraska.

Mr. Quinn has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University.
